“Western hospitality” is taken from the upcoming album “The People’s Record” due to be released on May 12th in Europe and on May 18th in North America.
The band has travelled to Brazil for inspiration, bought records made in the 70s in Western Africa, used a percussion player from Cuba and hooked up with producer Jari Haapalainen (The Concretes, Camera Obscura, Ed Harcourt). The result is a unique mix of Swedish pop melodies and African rhythms.
